Call for donations for Emergency Relief to help about 500 families
السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
We wish to inform you that about 500 Rohingya families were left homeless and all their belonging were totally destroyed when the fire broke out at the camp early Thursday morning.
Early report said;
• Injured; 58 men, 16 women, and 38 children.
• Dead; 1 man and 1 child.
We are scrambling to provide emergency relief to all the affected families. Among the items urgently required are a blanket, floor mat, kitchen utensils, food pack, and baby food. Our detailed costing is in progress and we will make it available for you as soon as possible.
As for now, we estimated that the emergency relief package will cost about USD125 all-in per family. Therefore the total cost would be about USD62,500.
We plan to deliver the relief package to the fire victims on 22 January 2021. We have put our team in Bangladesh on standby to take up the task with maximum efficiency.
We appeal to you to donate generously. Your support is crucial for the success of this emergency relief.
