Iftar Ramadhan 2019/1440H

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

  • Distribution Mission in Albab and Bza’a
  • Distribution of food packages containing 19 types of food to 160 families.

AS PROMISED, WE CARRIED OUT OUR FIRST IFTAR PROJECT IN SYRIA FROM THE FIRST DAY OF RAMADHAN ITSELF.

This year, Ramadhan has come in summer. The daytime temperature can go beyond 40°C. Thousands of the internally displaced Syrian in Northern Syria live in canvas-covered tents. The material used will make the inside of the tent very hot during the daytime and cold at night.

To make matters worse, they don’t normally have enough or nutritious food to really help them when fasting in the month of Ramadhan.

Our early Ramadhan food aid was a welcome relief to the IDP families in Northern Syria whom most of were poor.

Ramadhan is always a more difficult month for them because of the difficulty to get enough food to observe their fast.
